This #TrustTuesday Karen brings us a prayer to pray during this pandemic …

Lord God, we know that everything is in your control and we ask that in these difficult times you stop the virus from continuing to spread.

We pray for an effective vaccine to combat the disease to be speedily found.  Please give the scientists and researchers the skills, knowledge and understanding to carry out their work.

Comfort those who need your loving touch because of the virus and may they feel your power of healing through the care of the doctors and nurses. 

Pray for those who are anxious about loved ones, friends and neighbours enable them to trust in you and be steadfast in hope.

May the crisis bring out the best in us, not the worst.  Help us to find ways of keeping in touch and offering assistance to those around us in need.

Sometimes Lord, the way ahead seems so clear, but at this time it is filled with so much uncertainty, we ask that you will advise and watch over us.

Loving Lord, we pray that you would continue to guide and care, support and strengthen us in every aspect of our life’s, for our trust is in you.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
