This #ThoughtfulThursday Susanna shares her thoughts on Psalm 139…

Sometimes we don’t let people get to know us completely, because we are afraid they will discover something about us that they won’t like. But God already knows everything about us, even the number of hairs on our heads (Matthew 10:30) and still accepts us and loves us.
God is with us through every situation, in every trial- protecting us, loving us and guiding us. He knows and loves us completely. We should go to Him for understanding, since He knows us far better than we actually know ourselves! He views us through the eyes of Grace, so we’re not to be afraid of His intimate awareness. Instead allow the Light of His healing presence to shine into the deepest parts of us, cleansing, healing, refreshing and renewing us. Trust Him enough to accept the full forgiveness that He offers us continually. This great gift, which cost Him His life, is ours for All eternity. He says ” I will never leave you or forsake you “.
When no one else seems to understand, simply draw closer to God. Rejoice in the One who understands you completely and loves you perfectly. As He fills you with His love, you will become a reservoir of life, overflowing into the lives of other people.
Psalm 139:1-4 (NLT) 1 O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. 2 You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. 3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. 4 You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.
Joshua 1:5 (NLT) 5 No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.
