This verse has got me through many long periods of revision and exam worry. It has taught and continues to teach me that times of trial and suffering are needed in order to help us grow, through perseverance and strength. For me this is so reassuring especially in the current pandemic to know that regardless of what is going on in our lives or the world around us – God has given us never ending hope.
God does know the plans he has for us! Currently this may seem like it’s not lining up to exactly how we had planned it but we have trust in knowing that his plan for us will better than we could have ever imagined.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
