Follow up from Barbara and Grahams big walk.

Hello again, everyone. Well here we are, three months on from the end of our big South West Coast Path adventure – three months of sifting through some 1500 photos and videos, reliving the moments and trying to remember all the places we walked through – we both do OK as far as Padstow (about 25% of the walk) then it all becomes a bit of a blur!

We are still doing plenty of walking, but mostly local walks at the moment, however a couple of quite modest fell walks proved more challenging than anything we faced on the Coast Path, The terrain being much rougher and the ascents continuous rather than intermittent.

The question everyone asks is would we do it again? We definitely want to return to the SWCPath but maybe miss out a few less spectacular places. On the other hand we loved the “living in the moment” experience and another long distance trail is definitely on the cards.

Meanwhile we have our memories and next Sunday 1 October we are presenting “630 miles of memories” at All Saints Church, Scotby at 3pm. We would love you to join us and share a Devon Cream tea if you are in the area. For those who can’t, click this link for a short video!

Thanks again to everyone for your interest and support.
