Tuesday 18th April.

After scraping the ice off the windscreen, we hit the road at 6.30am and it was blue skies all the way to Porlosk Weir, a tiny, bustling coastal village 10mls west of Minehead. Amazingly, the only car park had NO HEIGHT BARRIERS AND NO PROHIBITING SIGNS and for only £1 extra parking we were welcome to overnight right on the foreshore!

At the end of a perfect day, Graham took time out to contemplate tomorrow’s walk.
